Beautiful and quiet 3 bedroom villa, located within the core of Costa Teguise. Shops and restaurants all within a short walking distance. Local market and water park are just a few examples of the many things to do when you are not laying on the beach which is only a 7 minute walk away! The pool is heated 12 months of the year for your comfort. The villa is fully equipped with everything that you may require for your stress free holiday.

Tastefully decorated, open plan living room and dining area all leading out to the pool through large double patio doors, to an additional outdoor table and chairs for sunset dining. Comfortable sunbeds and gas BBQ for the perfect holiday in the sun.

The towels are changed midweek as well as the tea towels and bath mats. If you stay with us for longer than one week, all linen will be changed as well as all bathrooms and floors cleaned for you. Additional services are available on request. We also leave you a welcome package and beach towels.

Notes on accommodation

This villa is most certainly suitable for children. The outdoor pool area can be locked off by closing the shutter doors while still allowing fresh air to come in. Discreet security grills have been installed on all windows for you added security. One is also able to leave the main windows open in the night for additional air to circulate.

Accessibility

The interior of the property is all on one level though there are three small steps leading up to the front door. Previous guests with wheelchairs have found this manageable. We are able to arrange the rental of equipment such as wheelchairs if you should require it.

Outside

The large terraced area has a gas BBQ and seating for six at the table or on relaxing sunbeds. The pool is heated and cleaned twice per week. Admire some local cacti and the beautiful bougainvillea in the garden.

Coast/Beach

It is a 7 minute walk to one of the most popular local beaches. This area is known especially for its fantastic windsurfing and kite-surfing just outside the protected area of the beach.

Golf

The villa is literally a 5 minute drive away from the 18 hole golf course!

Travel

The local airport, Arrecife, is a 15 minute drive away. It is not essential to rent a car unless you would like to see other areas of this beautiful island. Taxis are very easy to find and are priced reasonably.

A 40% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance needs to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. If the booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival, the full amount needs to be made at the time of booking.

This charming two-storey detached house is ideally located in a quiet cul-de-sac just minutes walk from the nearest supermarket, bars, restaurants and beaches. The property consists of four spacious bedrooms complete with ample built-in wardrobes, two bathrooms, spacious kitchen with breakfast table and separate dining room.

The villa has a certain home-from-home feel, with a spacious and comfortable lounge and stylish, modern and well equipped kitchen. On the ground floor are two double bedrooms with shower room. At the centre of the downstairs is a large formal dining area below an open atrium over which the galleried balcony on the first floor overlooks. Upstairs is a further double bedroom and twin bedroom, with full bathroom with bath and shower. Outside admire the beautiful mature gardens, eating and sunbathing area with a built in stone bbq. Additionally upstairs are two private terraces ideal for nude sunbathing or relax with a book in total peace and quiet.

This is a residential quiet area and close to shops, bars and beaches.

Interior

Downstairs are two bedrooms, one with kingsize bed and one with double bed. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, one with kingsize bed and one with twin beds. A nineth person can be accommodated on a “z bed” in any of the bedrooms or lounge.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave and built-in dishwasher. It has ample crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cooking equipment. The kitchen also has a breakfast dining area.

The formal dining area is overlooked by the upper gallery. This upper story, with two bedrooms also has two terraces where it is possible to sunbath in complete privacy.

The separate utility room has a washing machine and there is a large rotating clothes dryer.

The lounge is especially comfortable and stylish with flat screen tv complete with satellite system, and three large and comfortable sofas with coffee table. For formal dining there is a separate dining room.

Exterior

There are two steps leading up to the main entrance to the property, and from inside the house one step down into the pool and terrace area.

Set in private grounds there is a very pretty front garden with mature and established plants. The pool is heated and is accessed by a set of steps. The pool is 7 x 3.5 metres, depths 1.5 min and 1.7 max.

A built in coals bbq is available for your use, sunloungers and outside terrace furniture for al fresco dining.

We cannot recommend skiing in Lanzarote, but the villa is very close to local windsurfing and surf schools. Los Cucharas beach is very popular for water sports.

The award winning main beach of “Los Cucharas” beach is just a five minute walk away. This golden sandy beach is very safe for family bathing, and also hosts the annual world championship wind surfing competition.Transfer from the airport is just 15-20 minutes, we do not consider car hire essential for this villa.The nearby capital of Arrecife is just a short bus drive away, as is the neighbouring resorts of Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca. The new supermarket is only 5 minutes walk away from the villa.

Freshly laundered towels and linen are provided, with towels changed midweekly. For guests staying longer than 7 nights, there is a weekly maid service where linen is also changed and the bathrooms and floors etc are cleaned.

A helpful guide is in the property for guests use detailling places of interest, local amenities, booking of excursions and restaurant recommendations. We are on hand 24 hours a day in case of need or advice.

We ask for 40% to be paid on booking, with the remainder to be paid six weeks before departure. We are open to discounts for longer than two week bookings.Changeover day is flexible. Departure of the villa is 10am, and entry 2pm, although this can be flexible depending on neighbouring bookings. Please enquire at the time of booking.

This villa has an automatic gated entrance for added security and peacefulness.

All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and the main living area has air conditioning with remote control.

The large living area is wonderful for children to have amble space to play and the gate at the back of the property can be locked to keep children secure in the property.

The entire property is on one level except for three steps leading to the living area.

Outside

The property is accessed through a charming, totally private courtyard with mature palm trees. Patio doors from the living room and the master suite lead onto a magnificent, covered terrace from where one looks straight out to the

ocean. The cozy, sheltered, terrace area overlooks the 7×4 metre, electrically heated swimming pool, with ladder steps. The terrace is well furnished with a comfortable seating area and a large, wooden dining table. Enjoy cooking fresh fish or steaks on the built in BBQ. Stairs from the main terrace lead up to a large roof terrace which also has breathtaking, panoramic views over the ocean and the surrounding coastline. There is a large umbrella for extra shade as well as large teak wood sun beds with built in trays for your drinks on the large front line terrace. From here one can often catch sightings of dolphins or whales.

Coast/Beach

The closest beach is a 5-10 minute walk away. Slightly further along is the Las Cucharas beach, famous for its windsurfing and kitesurfing. Many competitions are held here. If you do not want to walk anywhere, the coastline is 50-60 meters in front of the villa. This is an ideal spot for fishing.

Golf

The island’s maturely developed golf course is only a five minute drive. Clubs and carts can be rented here.

Travel

Arrecife airport is 20 minutes away. Taxis are available from here so the rental of a car is not essential.

Interior

Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi spa. The terrace doors lead out to the terrace. The shutter doors can be kept closed to allow the breeze to pass through, while keeping the room secure at night. A ceiling fan is above the bed.

En-suite bath is very spacious and has a bidet, jacuzzi, glassed in shower and double sinks.
Another large bathroom has a double walk-in shower and double sinks.
The third smaller bathroom has a shower and sink.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and built-in dishwasher. It also has rotating cupboards and good quality crockery throughout.

The utility room leads off from the kitchen with a washing machine and drying area.

Bright, spacious living room feels lovely after a hard day relaxing by the pool! Leather sofas and large leather chair help to make this room feel cozy and comfortable. The apex ceiling also lends to the feeling of spaciousness.

The dining room has terrace doors leading straight out to the BBQ and pool area. The Satellite television, internet connection, compact stereo and DVD player are all located in the living room for your enjoyment.

All bath towels and linen are provided. There is a weekly maid service in which we change all the linen and towels and give a clean of the property. There is also a towel change in the middle of the week. Other services are available on request.

Outside

Enjoy established palm trees and other lush plant life in our garden. A terrace set of wooden table and chairs and umbrella makes for a welcome alternative to eating indoors. The large pool, with roman steps is 6 by 3 meters. 8 fabric based lounge chairs are easily placed to where you are most likely to enjoy the sun.2km to the nearest beach. The resort centre is approximately a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the villa and the nearest beach, Playa Flamingo, is about the same distance and is extremely popular with families due to its shallow, calm nature.

Travel

A car is recommended but is not considered essential for this accommodation. The Arrecife airport is about a half hour drive to Playa Blanca and taxis are available at the airport.

Distances

There is a local supermarket just a five minute walk from the villa. 35km from the airport. 2km to the nearest restaurant.

Further details

The pretty harbour of Playa Blanca is the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. A water taxi is also available to take people to Papagayo beaches. The recently opened, Puerto Rubicon Marina is a ten minute drive from the villa and is the location of many exclusive boutiques, bars and restaurants. Several excursions, including a catamaran trip depart from the Marina. Playa Blanca is approximately a 40 minute transfer from the airport. We have a helpful book in the villa which outlines interesting places to go as well as specific clues and tips for the use of the villa.

The location of the villa is ideal for holiday makers who want to be near to all the amenities of the resort, at the same time as being in a residential area. It is a 10 minute walk into the picturesque old harbour area, where there is a vast selection of good, Canarian restaurants. Here one can sit and relax while watching the activities of the port and enjoy marvellous sunsets, or join one of the many boat excursions. The smaller beach of Playa Chico is within 10 minutes walk.
